Description

Formally a trio of 3 guys over 10 years ago, the Noyze have evolved throughout the years seeing a few different faces. Now returning to form with the original brothers, Ross and Ryan with the addition of James Alder, a friend of the brothers from back in the day, who has also played with various bands around town over the years,

Over a 2 year period trialing bass players, the combination of Ross’ voice and guitar playing, Ryan’s fierce drumming and James’ rhythmic sounds, it was obvious to all that James was the chosen one. During the 2 year period finding a bass player, the band took a break from gigging until the band was fully back in action.

The Boys have been gigging together for over 12 years in various bands and line ups around Readings most established music venues, too many gigs to count to date! Some of these include the Purple Turtle, Oxjam Charity Festival, Caversham Festival and Facebar. The Noyze over the years have also ventured as far as London, Oxford, Basingstoke and Maidenhead.

Ross, Ryan and James have over the last year created a new direction for the band, giving the Noyze a distinct, unique sound and a new audience; it feels like a new band for the boys. We still feel that as the 2 brothers created the Noyze in 2002, the positive reputation of the band will be maintained, therefore keeping the name made sense.
Having played the Reading scene for so many years, The Noyze has built up a great relationship with local, reputable bands. This has resulted in some new opportunities for the band, most significantly, 2 other bands who cannot be named at this time, are signing to a small record label, Alpha Delta Music Ltd in the next year, which is also opening up opportunities for the Noyze. Due to this, we are holding off releasing an EP until this materializes.

Releasing material with them when the time comes gives the band time to focus on creating new tunes, record and produce the first full album.
